We are dedicated to providing exemplary adherence to sterilization procedures.

All Podiatry instruments are sterilized to industry guidelines as required by the Podiatry registration board.
Each set is individually cleaned and sterilized with an autoclave to ensure there is no cross infection.

It is also important for us to present a clean and tidy Clinic.

 

We are open Mon to Fri, 8.30am to 5.30pm, except for Tues + Fri afternoons.

and Sat mornings 8.30am to 12noon every first Sat of each month.

 

We also have an Accupuncturist, Joane Baldwin, who is available every Wed + Thur afternoon.

 

David has also plans to have a Naturopath and Massage Therapist in 2011.

 

At David Webby Podiatry we use the Hicaps system, which allows you to automatically claim from your private health insurance, and pay only the difference.

At David Webby Podiatry we are also interested in treating the whole person.

Our Feet are the foundation of our body, and if we don't look after them then our whole body suffers.

Here are a few other treatments we offer that has a holistic approach:

 

Reflexology

 

Reflexology Foot Massage:- With Reflexology the feet have many reflex points, which are similar to acupuncture points, that represent parts of the body. By simulating these points we can cause a physiological change in the rest of the body thus improving our health.

 

Our foot health can also be revealed through reflexes related to our emotional health of our body and soul. For example a loss of a loved one or emotional trauma can be stored through tension revealed by stimulating reflexes in the feet. One may ask oneself at times what is stopping them from moving forward in life.

 

For those willing to explore those emotional issues or belief systems, it can be very beneficial and transforming. It is up to you how far you want to explore the possibilities.

In fact it can be a very spiritual experience for those interested in raising their consciousness.

 

Along with the reflexology we combine the treatment with a Aromatherapy Foot Bath, which uses essential oils to aid healing, provide relaxation or stimulus when required.

Hi, my name is Joanne Majella Baldwin and I am a classically trained acupuncturist who has studied both Japanese acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine. 

 

I hold a B.H.Sc (Acupuncture), an Adv Dip of Acupuncture, and have recently spent time working in China's public hospital system while completing a Level 8 internship at Guangxi Traditional Chinese Medical University (Acupuncture, Moxibustion, Tui Na and Herbal Medicine).

 

My intention and commitment is to assist clients on their path to health and wellbeing.  A holistic approach is used to support each clients innate healing abilities and to restore balance ~ physically, mentally and spiritually.

The style of acupuncture I use is very gentle yet effective. So if you are afraid of needles, then this style is for you as it's painless!  :)
